With a degree in Media Production from the School of Communications at Quinnipiac University, as well as a minor in Fine Arts, Eric Oppegaard is a proven leader in the Communications field.

Currently working for multiple years in an HD, server based environment, Eric has the proven knowledge and expertise with the technology.

Eric was chosen based on an independently produced promotional DVD to help showcase the Sony Corporation at the NAB 2006 Exhibition in Las Vegas.

As programming director and chief engineer at his university television station, he led the stations development into tape-less, server based playback, as well as continued to improve picture and broadcast quality.

Eric has been sought out by multiple corporations including Tele-Media Cable, an Adelphia company, the Walt Disney Corporation, and ESPN. Currently, Eric heads up the media group at Fairview Research, based in New Haven CT. He also owns and operates his own media solutions company, OMedia.

            With a BA degree in Communications, I have an eclectic background including both television broadcast engineering systems integration, as well as media production.  This diverse background allows me to understand and better manage media workflow from all angles.
